Urgent Run 2023: WATERLAB Services, committed partner to provide drinking water at the event

The Urgent Run, a global event dedicated to sanitation around the world, is back in 2023. This year again, WATERLAB Services is pleased to provide drinking water to all runners for this emblematic event, for the Parisian version. As a partner, alongside WC Loc (main sponsor), on November 18, 2023, WATERLAB Services is committed to ensuring the supply of clean and safe water through the installation of its water fountains: Fas'Tower.

Urgent Run: Fighting the global health crisis

The Urgent Run is more than just a run. It is a global movement that aims to raise awareness and take action for sanitation for all. Held each year in different cities around the world, the event attracts thousands of participants of all ages and walks of life, united in a spirit of solidarity with those suffering from the global health crisis. The funds collected during the Urgent Run are then invested in concrete projects aimed at improving access to drinking water and sanitation facilities in the regions most affected by this crisis.

WATERLAB Services: A committed partner

As a player in the water sector, WATERLAB Services specializes in temporary water distribution solutions, maintaining potability and managing wastewater. Participating in the event for 2 years and for the 8th edition of the Urgent Run 2023, the WATERLAB Services team will set up water fountains free of charge. The company is strengthening its commitment to the humanitarian cause and its determination to make access to water a reality for all.

WATERLAB Services brings essential technical and logistical expertise to the event. The supply of drinking water for the many participants and the organizing teams represents a considerable challenge, and this is where WATERLAB Services comes in with a reliable and sustainable solution. With its state-of-the-art water purification technology, the company ensures that the water supplied is of the highest quality, meeting the strictest sanitary standards. The WATERLAB Services teams are also among the regular runners in the race.

Awareness through action

The Urgent Run 2023 will be a unique opportunity to mobilize public opinion and raise awareness around the world of the crucial importance of access to drinking water and sanitation for all. By participating in this event, each runner will actively contribute to advancing the cause.

Back to the 2022 edition :

Last year, 1300 runners mobilized in the Bois de Boulogne and 200 runners belonging to the Enygea Group.

The other brands of the Enygea Group have been participating in the event for several years, joined by WATERLAB Services in 2022.

WC Loc provides financial, material and organizational assistance.
Happee Services is in charge of all the sanitary part necessary for the smooth running of the race. They provide about ten toilets free of charge: male and female urinals, autonomous and PMR cabins as well as permanent cleaning.
WATERLAB Services had set up 2 water fountains.

A total of 18 700€ was collected for the various associations and projects :

Vision du monde : Renovation of a school in Senegal at Maka Yopp
Rotary International : Construction of toilet blocks for the Rotary International association in Ivory Coast

HUMANITARIAN ACTION IN TOGO
